| Computer.. DEAD.. RIP Computer was working completely fine, really fast as usual. no problems what-so-ever. My girlfriend is coming over and i need to meet her at the station in 5 mins. (station is 10 mins away). "I don't have time to click 3 times to shut this down!!" *presses the atx power off to auto shut down* Girlfriend has gone home. I wanna play with my pc. Switch on, POST, XP bootscreen. Black.... i wait.... wait.... wait.... nothing. No HD activity, nothing. AHA i shall try safe mode! Safe mode gets to agp440.sys driver. Sticks... 20 mins go by, nothing happens. Damn. RESTART! try again. same again. I have some important college work on the hard drive. It's not on the second one HD either! Help me get this baby back on the road! (PS i don't want to sit through a full system recovery)

| If it's overclocked at all, lower it and try again.

| DId you update any of the motherboard drivers before restarting ?

| If you can get into Bios, lower all your settings to " Lower failsafe defaults. If that doesn't work, short your pin 2 and 3 on your CMOS and pull the battery out for aprox 30 seconds. Put it back in. That will usually bring it back up in limp mode.
