Freaking Viruses

Apperently I have caught a pretty serious virus. Every time I open my task manager or regedit, it closes in seconds. Do any of these processes look irregular? If so, how do I trace them and get rid of them, or better yet, get rid of this virus all together.

Booted into safe mode, ran task manager and regedit, both ran flawlessly. ipcnfg was not running. So I went to run and typed in ipcnfg and proceeded to view my task manager. Well, whaddya know, it closes within seconds, as does regedit. Now that I know the culprit, how do I get rid of it? And yes, I have tried multiple virus scans to no avail.

*Edit* Killed it. *Edit*

Could you let us know, if possible, how or where from you got this file?
It would help us look out for it in future.
If not, no worries!

Exile, try Housecall, http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ , it's Trend's online virus and spyware scanner if you believe that even your AV software is not trustable now because of the problems you had. It's good, with it I got rid of some trojans and spyware from some machines that were "protected" with AV and Antispyware softwares
