| Registry Fix? I Killed My Registry With a Cleaner Program aNd Now its not even doing anything it loads to desktop but cant see start up screen cant even load any program or start one PLease help?

| Perhaps a "Repair" re-installation of the OS might work. Kinda doubt it, though. I had a Reg-clean prog that worked in 98SE--but you had to go carry out its suggestions line by line and could avoid deleting what might be touchy registry entries. In other words if you didn't have a clue you could leave it alone.

| Ahm a tellin' ya, it's almost always something with these "smart" computer things. Maybe you have to accept the fact that they never work perfectly--for more than a few seconds. I try!
