RAM problems on 98SE

Hey all. Our old laptop has been playing up for quite a while now, but has gotten worse of late. After running for a while, just browsing the internet with IE, the available memory drops right down to 10Mb or lower, and occasionally BSODs with the low system resources message. Is there anything I could do about this, apart from formatting? Perhaps increase the page file size?

It's an old Toshiba Satellite Pro 4300 Series, with 192Mb RAM and a 666Mhz CPU (I think). Can get more specs if needed.

Thanks for your help.

I'd run Memtest86 ( http://www.memtest86.com/ ) to see if you are having a hardware problem before you try a clean install.
