Kai, once you have the basic idea, there's one whole big bunch of trial and error. You just need to allow yourself the freedom to experiment. A little less, a little more until you find the "Happy medium" of speed and stability for your machine. Parts are not all the same, even between two good parts their are slight variations that make looking for your self worth while....

In short, just because "his" will, don't necessarily mean yours will. It's just a good indicator of what you can reasonably hope for. Take your time. Lots to do with a new machine!

If you want to try something you think "might" harm your box, just ask, we won't let you go to far wrong.":O}

Hands on help, especially in the beginning can be very helpful. But I'm betting you will get an itch and won't wait.":O}

The lowest it will run stably on, try the 1.9, if it wobbles, go for 2.0
Still no good? lower the timings to 555 etc.

Way to go, Kai. Hurt my feelings. I don't care.

Younger brothers always seek their Independence.
That Kai came here I would see as a vote of confidence in your overall judgement.
