Monitor dump

well just a rant here......im good at it huh..

my 2 1/2 year old HP 19" monitor just went out .....of course store warranty is not good after this time and HP hasent emailed me backl....dont you hate spending ...say 550-600 for a monitor that NO ONE will even diagnose or repair....
am i in a loop that says every 3 years i get to spend big money for a through away computer part......if i knew what i was doing i would get my dvom and start checking things.....without getting shocked....lol.......

ok ....here's the point of this post.....what should i do?? no one around here will even look at this thing......tv shop..computer places...??.........

Was the warranty good for three years? If so, you probably can hold H-P to it without difficulty. If the monitor came with a three year warranty, let's hope there isn't weasel or wiggle room for H-P! If it had only a one year warranty, you're probably sol.

The good news is that 19" monitors are a lot less expensive than they were 2.5 years ago.
