tweaksrus.com site hacked and down
this is not a good sign for a few days now tweaks rus has been down.
at first the home page was down and the hacker left the forums up.
then they hit again and now the whole site is down and all of the drivers and utilities and etc.
are gone for good, we don't know when the site will be back or even if it will be back.
so we have to wait on news as to when it will be back if ever.

Sadly it looks as if they've lost everything as far as their poor forums community goes...They seem to be regrouping around a new site name... sorry, no longer have the E-mail....from a friend.

Hey guys. Im new here. About TweaksRUs. I was wondering what was going on there because my link for the site wouldnt work. I have been a member of TRU for just over a year and visited the site the site a good few times a day. Now could anybody please point me to where they reside now so i can join in with them again please?

hello steve i wanted to extend the warm welcome these great people showed me.

so welcome steve to the forums and the site.
but i did alittle digging on the net and found that tru was shut down in a big problem nvidia was having with people modding thier drivers.
and now they started another site it is www.tweakforce.com

yes i was until they banned me well goz banned me.
because he didn't think i should be helping people.
and i also agreed with you on something.
so he got in my face about it and was really rude.
and i hate that when people are like that.
so i told him he needed to change his tone.
so he got worse and worse so i just told him off and he banned me.
no biggy i belong to a better place now.

WOW that sucks man. You dont have to worry about goz on there anymore cause he aint owner anymore. As long as I was there I never had a problem there.

nope he isnt owner now. SemperFI is now owner of the forum. Goz is still moderator there though. I think you gotta do sme serious brown nosing with that crowd to even sniff at being a moderator LOL. Ill never get in.

I don't suppose putting older drivers in a "pay-to-access" area would have gone down well with Nvidia.

Yeah SemperFI was a member of TRU for about 8 months before it got hacked and they lost everything (Which is what hapened) Now their Forum software isnt very userfriendly and the colours hurt my eyes.

Yeah I reckon thats how most of the moderators giot to be moderators on there. By Brown nosing. Thats why I will never be a moderator on there. I dont brown nose for anybody. I will help anybody I can help but brown nosing isnt the way I go.

Yeah They got cocky because their theme does acutaly hurt my eyes. But dont worry I have a proper TRU replacement. Only thing is I wont be able to have download files and I cant mod drivers but ill do my best to rember the way TRU was laid out and I will have one or two nice themes. You will be welcome on there as a mod as soon as im ready.

Ill just ask GOZ and JR If I can use the name TweaksRUs. If now The site will called TRU returns LOL.
