You're probably looking for http://www.storage.ibm.com/hdd/support/index.htm

Although I'd be a little surprised if IBM took it back under RMA with a missing pin.

That's what I'm thinking, IBM will likely NOT replace that...

Hey its prolly an idea to solder it on discreetly wether it works still or not then RMA it to them sayin its not detected in BIOS they may take it back that way

Dishonesty is never the answer. I'm no saint, but if I broke it even I'd toss it and buy a new one...

If it was a dry joint then that might have been part of the bios problem.

If you can offord to loose the drive for a bit then try the RMA..unless you abuse the drive sloder joints shouldnt break.

If they refuse and send it back then you will have to try repairing it yourslef.

What pin do you mean? A data pin in the IDE connector? Or one of the four pins in the "Molex" power connector?

I read that the Molex pins are very fragile with the 75GXP's. If you look at the power plug carefully, you'll see that it's woefully weak. From good design! Right IBM? I took some pains to minimize "trauma" on mine. Why did I bother? The pos died on me from other natural causes. Go IBM! You guys make the best IDE drives. Woo-hoo. Sonos a beetches, Mongo not like!
