| i've just done a system restore no problems yet. Ohh btw about the crash I had this morning, it wasn't really a crash. The batteries in my mouse died. im an idiot.

| Computers real pissed, i get fuzzy coloured lines on every startup now. but the crashes have gone completely.

| crashes were still there when i switched ram but they stopped after i ran chkdsk. But at the same time i also switched off my OC so i'm not quite sure what it was. I'm going to switch the ram back and see if it gets rid of the fuzzy welcome screen.

| Is your ram OC'ed? or set to auto? in bios? Also Did you do a full chkdsk? chkdsk C: /f /r 5/5 tests

| ram is set to Auto, i didnt have time to play with the bios just yet. i ran chkdsk with both boxes ticked. 5/5 Dan your always there throwing up ideas even when your not sure, its not a matter of luck just a matter of time until something you say works.
