Word. Of course now that the PSU is about a day away I realize it's probably way too big for my case and I'm gonna have to mod the hell out of it. Fun times ahead. I'll post pictures if I'm not too lazy.

My replacement i7 and memory will be here today. I just finished hacking out large chunks of metal in an attempt to fit the massive PSU I just bought in there. 95% successful. The front panel sticks out a bit now and the graphics card could not have been a tighter fit but everything is hooked up and hopefully I will be back in business tonight. Pictures later.

Up and running. Barely. Got all my RMA'd stuff back, popped it in, and lo and behold absolutely nothing happened. No fans, nothing. Apparently pulling out the CMOS battery and having the jumper moved to clear was the trick.

Anyways here are some pictures of my fresh new build. Cable management is obviously my forte.

14.5k in 3DMark06 at stock. We'll see how it goes after overclocking.

That's an old benchmark Jackson...
You need to now run 3DMark Vantage to see what your system can do & compare it with what others here have gotten on scores.

Vantage Download

Yea, I know. Only reason I didn't get Vantage is 'cause I didn't feel like paying for it, but I guess I'll get the trial version.

Glad to hear its all up and running. So was it the Power Supply or the CMOS?

Honestly, I think it was the CMOS. I'll get around to testing the old PSU today and I'll know for sure. Regardless, this system needed a PSU and I should've splurged for one in the beginning.

I usually can't afford to "splurge" so I at least budget for $100 or so. I have purchased 4 Enermax Powersupplies and absolutely love them

Yup, I've only heard good things about Enermax. I make $9 an hour so I'd call it a splurge to buy a $120 PSU. Anyways, here are some pics of my Zalman, which of course doesn't fit in my case. Case mod anyone?

Yea, I really think it was the CMOS, although the PSU definitely needed to be upgraded. Never hurts to play it safe though.
