I think my 780i has died

It started rith random lock-ups, then repaires. now, witheither SATA or IDE, it won't install any OS.

On the sata.afterformat, it wouldn't recognise the drive (WIN 7)
(XP PRO)formats and kicks to a screen
UNEXPECTED ERROR HAS OCCURRED STATUS:0XC0000034
I think my 780I is gone. ????????????

What does that box do running 24/7? Sure doesn't fold.

You knew what I meant...it was a figure of speech!
I just meant it's been running at these settings for 2 years now with no problems.
No I don't run it all day & night.
As a matter of a fact I shut it down at night to conserve
electricity & when I'm not on it I have it on standby till I shut it down at night.
I don't pay the electricity bill, so there's no way in **** I could fold.

I have to try, don't I?

How many hours a day do you run it? See this post:

Anymore at the most I'd say about 3-4 hours tops a day & that's including playing games.
Most of my time lately has been posting in forums like the AOA forum, then I shut it down.
