Exclamation This time my Badaxe 2 IS DEAD!!! (No Joke)

Well, what I was hoping wouldn't happen until later happened lastnight when I was re-applying Arctic Silver 5 on my Zalman.
I did nothing out of the ordinary either...
I just disconnected some power cords, pulled the cooler & CPU out of the socket & when I put it back together it would not post for nothin!!!

I tried everything I could think of too...
1. Pulled battery.
2. Pulled all but 1 memory module.
3. Put the Jumper back to Maint mode. (this usually always works)
4. Pull the jumper off completely & tried a recovery CD.
5. Pulled the CPU cooler off & checked the CPU socket for bent pins & make sure it was seated correctly. (3 times no less)

All to no avail...All I get is a black screen with no post beeps at all...nothin!!!
I'm almost 100% positive this is the mobo as it was acting dodgy for about a year now & wouldn't stay stable or would loose settings...

Now to see if ABS Tech will honor their 3 year extended warranty...
Wish me luck, I think I'm going to need it for some reason.

Oh, if you're wondering this is my old backup system I'm using now.
Old P4 2.4Ghz, 1Mb memory (512x2) & APG 9550 ATI Radeon card running XP PRO XP3.
At least it still works heh!

Edit: Well Crap!!!
Looks like my warranty just ran out on my system so now I have to get another mobo out of pocket. (the mobo self destructed 2 weeks out of warranty!)
Needless to say money is few & far between with the little bits of work I get at the neighbors next door
so it's going to be quite awhile before I can get it up & running again.

Not to mention I just spent the $100 I had saved up (took 4 months to earn) on a new G.Skill 4Gb set of DDR2-1066 memory I can't use
for it now... Now I'm just down right depressed...

Yea cloasters, originally it was a $300+ board when it came out!
I think I paid around $200 for mine though as it had been out for awhile before I bought the system.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had ONLY hardware problems, computer hardware that is?
