Angry Leak

I haven't used my XBOX for a while and I found that Duracell batteries have leaked inside the two wireless controllers. Any chance of making it work again or I can throw em away?

Cheers

Usually you can just clean then gunk out and you'll be fine.

I can't see anything leaked on the board, as far as I can tell there was just a bit inside the batery plastic holder. I used a knife to clean the metal on one side (same side affected in both) and no go. The light doesn't come on. Hmmm will try and clean them some more although there are clear contact points and new batteries (tested) inserted. Cheers for the answers.

Dude I can't clean them properly as its one plastic piece with the metal connectors at the bottom. Looking at it I realised that the bottom two connectors are just connecting one battery to the other so instead of this plastic battery containers I inserted the batteries and made a conection between + and - where the gunk metal stand and the controllers are both fine. Wohoooo
