nv4_disp infinate loop

Asus P4S533
Samsung 512Mb DDR
Leadtek Winfast Gf 3 Ti. 500
SBlive 1024
Haupauge Wintvfm
P4 1800@2400

Lots of people know about this problem. Hit me about a week ago. Since then tried most things:-

newest MB bios
NVidia drivers 30.30, 28.32,27.40, 27,50, 23,11 amongst others and the Omega driver
Disabled Hardware Acceleration
Enable write combining off
AGP XP default driver
Bios settings (everything I thought might help)
Other things I cant remember

Also disabled pci cards, but only disabled. Is there a difference between disabelling and deinstalling?

Of coarse I didn´t overclock while trying this stuff.

Seen the website "The Infinate Loop"

I know this is caused apparently by the graffic card "going faster" than the MB (or viceversa?) and the solutions seem to be different according to the system. I´ve tried all the fixes I´ve found but nothing works.

It started for no apparent reason. Suddenly games started crashins either with a BSOD 0X000000EA or simply to the desktop (GTA 3, Neverwinter Nights, Arx Fatalis)and DVD2AVI, TMPGEnc (newest versions) stopped working 5-15mins into the job.

I havent reinstalled XP or swopped any hardware. Thats last resort stuff. (haven´t got any hardware to swop with and it must be a driver, software, bios problem as the system worked fine since I got it (4 weeks or so).

If any one has a similar setup and had the problem and found the answer please let me know. Any suggestions would be great.

Thankx
Andy

I acquired the Inf. Loop after testing out about 15 different nVid drivers. After reading around everywhere and trying all tips, nothing worked.

Know what worked for me? Reinstalling the Via 4-in1's.

But, if you've already tried that, sorry.

My MB has a different chip, SIS645DX, on it and I did the automatic update but didn´t help.
