no video

i get no video at all.. i get a spinning fan, i'm not sure if my hard drive is accessing , but nothing comes up on my screen.. could a faulty power supply cause this?? because i have a stock psu 350 watt with 6 amps ... supposedly my intel motherboard needs 8 ... could this be causing the no video problem?

Spinning fan just means there's 12v coming out of the PSU
Be nice if there was a little background information!

A faulty power supply could cause your problem, as could an underspec'd power supply, but then again, a whole host of other problems can also cause the same issue!

Do you get any other signs of life at all?

Yeh, check if the lights are on, if they are it's probably not a PSU problem.

Is it an AGP vid card? Chances are you didn't push it in all the way. With some cards (especially on a NEW mobo) you need to push the card in HARD!!! I though that I was going to break mine.
