disable apache directory listing

hi all!

i'm using .net and apache 1.3. what are the steps on disableing directory listing in apache? i've looked over the manual at the site, and what a horrible experience it was . i know the settings are under httpd.conf but everytime i change something, i'm still able to access my whole directory.

Flockin' H, this question remains unanswered for far too long. The embarrassment! Anyone able to give r0l0e a hand with this, please?

Umm.. Let me check my config. I think this will work:
Code:
<Directory "C:/Your/Dir/">
Order allow,deny
</Directory>
Tell me if that works.
