Virus Help !

Ok Ive popped in here a few times to check out some things but I was wondering if anyone knows about OptixPro.12 Seems to me in my sysreg file and winamp files . . Ok I used Norton, CPUs fudged now Whenever i click on anything from my desktop it says "windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file You may not have the appropriate permissions to acess them" Which i am the Main on my PC And also after I got home Norton anti virus says this "Detected virus blah blah blah in my "C:\Windows\system32\regsrv.exe" Virus name Backdoor.Optixpro.12 and Action Taken- Unable to repair this file! Please help this sucks!

Step back for a second. It's a little difficult to help when you haven't explained where you get stuck, nor what you've tried.

In the instructions that you got from symantec, how far did you get before you got stuck? What had you done?

the easiest way is gonna be to put the drive in a machine with updated AV and scan it, be wary though, alot of backdoors alter executables, so when its done cleaning some of your programs may not work, heck windows might not even boot
