Spyware scanner

Can anyone recommend an online spyware scanner (a safe one!!) I've just re-installed SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard, but want to make sure that there isn't anythinng in here already.
My paranoia tells me that a good way of getting bad things on to people's computers is by pretending to be a website that gives security benefits, it also panders to peoole's need for irony.

In a similar vein, you honchos should have a sticky here recommending "approved" scans and software (fully moderated of course). We mortals look up to and respect you, you know

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ It's an online virus and spyware checker. It's allways updated and I think it's good. This is my reccomendation.
Cheers!

I know the problem Chris, I wanted to reccomend only the spyware cleaner not also the antivirus, because this was what the man asked for.
Anyway..i hope it serves him good!
