Thanks Áedán! I thought of that myself this morning, but saw that you had already beaten me to it. As for why I didn't do it last night, I can only claim fatigue, as it was quite late when Daniel started haranguing me for his siggy.

Might give this software a try, I dont normally use anti-virus software cus I dont seem to get viruses and I usually use a free one once in a while to do a quick scan.

Come to think of it I dont have anti-spyware or a firewall running....

My personal experience with AV programs is that none of them actually pick up all the threats. Here on AOA we've had examples of when one or two AV programs have picked up a problem up, but other AV programs have given the same file a clean bill of health.

Someone I know runs the Virus.org scanner service - he has a number of different AV programs, and they don't all pick the same thing up. Looking at the top 10 results shows that different AV programs are picking different things up.
