Purchase AVG Anti-Virus from AOA!

I am pleased to announce that we have become a Grisoft, Inc. Affiliate. What this means is that we can now offer AVG Anti-Virus software to you, our users, for purchase through AOA.

Why is this a Good Thing? Well, for starters it means that we can offer you one of the best Anti-Virus packages available. It also means that, when you purchase the AVG package, AOA gets to make a buck or two off the sale. So, not only do you protect your computer, but you ALSO help support AOA!

Please understand, however, that AOA acts only as a reseller in this transaction. You are purchasing a software product from Grisoft, Inc. Any support requirements or problems that you have with the product are solely between you, the purchaser, and Grisoft, Inc. While we will do what we can to help you out, AOA cannot be held liable for the successful resolution of any issues you may have.

If you wish to purchase your copy of AVG Anti-Virus through AOA, please click on the link below. Important! Although this link takes you to the AVG site, you MUST go to the AVG site by clicking on this link in order for AOA to get any credit for the sale!

Purchase AVG

Excellent, I may just sign up. I very much like AVG and their free version is an effective program (considering its free) Looks like I'll be back when I get my next paycheck.

But Gizmo... I wanted a Graphic that goes straight to AVG, One I could call all my very own! Just about where it now says Anti-Virus would look very nice! Please reconsider! ":O}

I can't, Daniel. I'm very sorry to have to tell you that, but you and I suffer from a similar problem; we are both running up against the character limit in our siggys. Believe it or not, the text required to make that AVG graphic clickable would put your siggy over the limit. This was the best I could do for you with the current setup. Sorry.

Majorgeeks offers AVG free edition for download. Perhaps they are ok with it?

Then I would suspect they are OK with it, but I'll still ask, just to be safe.

Norton is one of the more problematic Anti-Virus programs though. Avast! would be an interesting one to track down.

Who makes up these rules! LOL

I'm no longer folding, if I wish to resume Folding I'll will need to make some money... we could dump folding and watch Chris jump up and down real funny like...Does that ease the situation with Da MAN?

DON"T even think about it! The Dragon stays! ":O}

If you want to add the AVG link to your signature, read carefully...
What you need to do is to add the following snippet to your signature. If you want to center it, then you can use all the normal tags to do so!

PHP Code:
[avg]n[/avg
That bit of code gives you this:
Buy AVG Anti-Virus and Support AOA!!

So, if you added the following to your signature:

PHP Code:
[center][avg]n[/avg][/center
You'd get the following:

Buy AVG Anti-Virus and Support AOA!!

I'm working on a better way to resolve this at the moment. Note that the letter in the middle (the "n" in my case) needs to be there!

I've added it to my sig but I'm going to stick with AVG free for now.
