This seemed of sufficient interest and import to follow the story a bit as the details unfold. Google is getting SLAMMED, they are getting slammed for harming your right to privacy.

What specifically is the major point of contention though? I keep hearing about this story, but have yet to hear the evidence or actions in particular that warrant it? Maybe someone who knows more about it can tell me.
