Oracle is scrambling to create an emergency patch for a severe vulnerability in its WebLogic server that can be exploited over a network without a need for a username or a password

WebLogic's a web server. Why would you want to have public Internet sites that require a username and password to view?

In any case, there's a workaround for it. This issue was originally identified about the 19th of July.
