The number of attacks and severity of attacks by Chinese hackers continues to increase

A congressional advisory panel has said China is perfecting its ability to engage in cyber warfare and other computer espionage against the United States and its allies.

we should get our hackers together and go ten fold on them.
shut the whole country down.
they always deny it even though we know its them.
they purchased maxtor hdd company and put a spy program on it.
that lets them get any info on a pc with their hdd in it.
we need to find better way of security for our classified document and military movements.
or our game plans will mean nothing in the event of military conflict.

There are a lot of Chinese attacks at the moment, but all the ones I've seen generally rely on people failing to install patches for Windows, Java, Flash and Acrobat Reader - however, these attacks only work because there's a whole bunch of websites with a certain class of vulnerability (SQL Injection).

In other words, if the western world bothered to secure their websites and computers, the Chinese (and Russians and spammers) would find it much much harder. However, as people haven't bothered, it's a bit like taking candy from a baby.
