Home Network Security

CERT have put together a great resource about Home Network Security, that covers more that just security. It defines a bunch of technical stuff, but far more importantly there's sections on the risks involved, as well as some things you can do to try and keep your computer safe. This is worth a read even if you don't have a home network!

This is a very good link that helps one refresh or relearn the basics of internet and Internet protocols. Thank you very much, Aedan!

To be honest, not that much has really changed in the world of security for home users, other than the fact that the Internet is less welcoming that it was three years ago.
