Night Photography.

After a couple people saw my pictures through my profile I'll present to you what I uploaded last night.

First off, these are all real. no computer manipulations, no photoshop, no dark room, no digital... its all shot on my 21 year old nikon FG with slide film...

Anyways... Here are a few select prints I uploaded last night. More are on the site.

http://www.arinahnell.com/05-25-04/
I just uploaded some new work. I started shooting this roll back in february and just never finished it till now. I kept taking it out and putting it back in so I lost alot of frames inbetween. Anyways, Some of them are interesting, however I really struggled scanning them and wasnt able to bring out alot of detail like I could see on the actuall slides.

Anyways, here were a few of my favorites.
BTW, all shots are about 5 mins, f2.8-5.6 on a nikon fg with fujichrome 64t slide film. Zenitar 16mm fishey or Nikkor 20mm AFD. All were under a full moon.

Shot these while intoxicated on E100VS slide flim from my nikon FG with zenitar 16mm fisheye lens and 20mm Nikkor 2.8AFD.

I sell them actually. I have scanned them as 12bit 50+ meg tiff files.
I usually print them here on a huge printer (soon to be a chromeria) but since you have your own stuff I could sell you one of the pix and have you print it out there.

I've printed as large as 42 inches wide. Although it showed grain, it still looked good.
Email me at A r i n (AT) A r i n A h n e l l <DOT> c o m if you are interested.

They're excellent photos, I love the surreal quality that they have.

Pics look very cool!!
I did a bunch of night photgraphy years ago, using 100 speed film and bulb at various settings, it's amazing what ya can do, and the effects using bulb are awesome.

I have a buttload of pics around here somewhere.

Anyways, yeah, muzz, post up your stuff!
I'd love to, problem is I haven't seen them in 2 moves(they were stored), and the last time I moved was 7+ years ago!!
I looked where I thought they might be already, but they are not there......
I had some stuff over a buddies house for a little while between those moves, so I hope I didn't leave them there, as he did a massive cleanup ( which means all my pics would be lost forever) since I've taken my stuff.
I used to be best friends with him, but he has some pretty serious personal issues to deal with, so I haven't spoken to him in over a year.
Not my choice really.
I'm gonna poke around some more, I'd love to share those pics if I can find them.
Most folks don't care too much for crazy lights(traffic/sky) and such...
