R72, great might give that one a go. What do you think of the match shot?

I like it, a little bit dark but it's not an easy shot to take. You've done well.

Thanks. I love that type of shot. Im really liking Photography as a hobby, just waiting for that perfect shot. Im finding myself taking my camera everywhere... "just in case!"

I know what you mean, although I don't think there's any such thing as the perfect shot. One of the attractions to me is that it gets me out of the house/office into the fresh air. Occasionally I'll just go up into the hills and take a shot and then just go to sleep for an hour, just enjoying the quiet

I Totally agree, although living in a rather dull place doesnt help inspire me (scotland certainly would!) but ive been so suprised how beautifully pictures of some of the most random and mundane things can be. It really opens your eyes¬

It probably only seems dull because you live there!

Maybe, we should have an AOA photo assignment competition, just for fun?

You know the kind of thing, pick a theme and see who can come up with the best shot on that theme. Who would be up for having a go?

It would just be for fun, no need to be an expert!

If the theme is 'people' you will do just fine then. LOL

I'll have a go as well, so I won't pick the theme.

Normally, the theme is just a single word, e.g. red, water, wood, bright, etc. you get the idea. So, it is up to you how you interpret that word in to a photo. E.g. for red you might take a phot of a red apple, whatever you like really.

I'll have a go as well, so I'll get someone who won't be joining in to pick a word and start a thread for it.

We can get members to pick a winner using a poll.
