Great Thread

You guys have posted up some great shots! Some nice locations.
I have no exotic locations to shoot. I have the area around our beach place.
I love my Canon A95 for outdoor shooting. Not so thrilled with the indoor shooting. Never had this much trouble with red-eye before. Going to get some lights to set up for indoor shooting and forget the flash. Here are a few shots from our own little private resort on the Longbeach Peninsula. Longbeach Washington that is!

Your beach there looks exotic enough to me, very nice! Exotic is just a relative thing.

You can use an image editor to get rid of any red eye in flash photos, cheaper than lights. Does your camera have an anti-red eye flash mode?

Thanks danrok

Yes it does have redeye reduction and it works well when everyone is looking right at the camera. Anyone not looking directly at it looks possessed!! Really bad more than any camera I have ever had!. I have much more to learn about this new camera of mine. Here are a couple shots actually taken on the beach! I took more than a hundred shots on this particular weekend and used Video Vegas 4 to turn them into a nice slide show. I like Video Vegas for the fact it will let you start on any given point on a photograph and move ,move out or move across and up and down on a pic. Which gives motion to your stills in the slide show. Then you render it to mpeg 2 or avi or whatever you want. Send it to DVD architect and watch it in the DVD player. My mom loves this as she can't see well enogh to look at photos but when you play them back on a nice 32 in. TV or on my 57in. She can see them very well. I am amazed That the pictures don't lose integrity well put on that large of screen. Loop together some music that fits the slide show and you are in business!! That is why I haven't been seen in the benchmarks much lately.
Between woork and building systems, 5 in the last 2 1/2 weeks and Doing all this vid work and learning this Video Vegas. Well let's just say I have been swamped for the last few months!!
