oh yeah, that second one is great lighting!

Here's one i just created now, it looks like the land is above the clouds! It's only 640 x 480 because of the time it takes but if i get chance, i'll do a 1024 x 768 version. Anyway, the picture:

Why oh why can I ramp up all the sliders as far to the right as they go and still get only awful images?

Note to self: Remember when quitting Terragen to save the terrain file, as well as the world files, light and atmosphere files, and also the terrain colouring files...

had a nice one of a creator, took me ages of messing around to get it... guess I can always start again, only took a few hours of toying :-|

ROFL, guess who missed the obvious slider. That's right, I completely overlooked the slider in terra4.bmp *sigh*

Hmph! Bloody stupid place to put an option. Putting it somewhere obvious - of course it's gonna get overlooked...

that's it... always look for the most complicated solution first, cos theres no way all this problem is being caused by something simple... just no way... is there?

rain drops... hmm... i was hoping more for the illusion of a gentle bubbling pit.

I got an effects plug in for it... It does increase the rendering time though.. but it seems reasonable. just far more things to play with
