Its about 2000KM away from me right now. The auction closed about 8 hours ago, and because its a long weekend, the money can't be sent for it until Tuesday. Then another 3 days for shipping.

I know UK English and US English have variances on the spelling of words but are there variances in interpretation?

I was basically stating that it's good and all, meaning, its fine and dandy but almost useless. I suggested zooming up optically, thus suggesting that digital zoom is total and utter crap (which it is). Maybe UK interpretation is different or perhaps you were just waiting to rant on about something and didn't bother to finish reading the sentence.

OK, I got my F505. The batteries hold almost no charge so I'll need new ones, but the thing definately takes better quality pictures at 2.1MP than the P71 took at 3.2MP.
