Morning in Portland

When daylight moved in yesterday it was pretty sweet.

I was on the dock leading out to our barges. Try to always have my camera on the ready

Very nice! You have a view of the docks from your home?

My home is 2 barges that were part of a floating dry dock during World War 2. They would sink them float a crippled ship over them and then pump out the water and float them, thus lifting the damaged ship out of the water. My office is landside but, I prefer being down on the water. My weld shop is a floating shop. I have always loved being on the water and for the last 10 years this has been my work home.

Very cool. Living some where different or unusual is very appealing.
