I was touched by these screenshots, as well as other viewers. I was(still am) drooling at my own screenshots. Can you believe that?? .. well, ya should. Kids won't understand these pictures. These are the things that adults will appreciate. Class and experience, know what I mean.

Uh so what camera did you use to take these shots. is this just a sales pitch for blue-ray? or plasma? Yes the images are stunning but, well I guess different strokes for different folks.

The camera is Fujifilm FinePix F30 w/ tripod and manual settings. It's been fine tuned for taking pics of the plasma while displaying video at pause mode.

No, it's not a sales pitch.

I would say the purpose of this thread may not be clear for everyone since these pics may apply for different things for different people, like you've said. For me, it's about how well taking pictures of the plasma while the video is displayed. It is very difficult to capture precise colors and lighting that are emitting from the display. It is a challenge. I strive for perfection. I find it very pleasing when the pictures come out well. And of course, to show my plasma(s) power. All source is powered by my HTPC, no standalone DVD/HD-DVD Players.

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but don't those 50" Plasmas only have 768 horizontal lines, how are you outputting to 1080p?
