Just been listening to Smith 6079 - nice style indeed but a tad too heavy for me. You can download a few of their tracks from the website (samples only).

They were handpicked out of 400 unsigned bands to play at Jersey Live, by the guy who books the bands for Glastonbury. Some kind of competition.

Saw Kasabian last night, no photos, was too busy jumping around at the front.
