for ground textures, I recommend 2048x2048
most new games are using textures that big
(edit) nevermind, I noticed some of them are 3000x3000

Since you can make such large textures, how about some mountains, rock, stone, cliff textures?
Those are hard to find too.
I have always wondered how games like Skyrim can make those mountain look so REAL with tiling textures?
