Here's some textures I've made. Can be used as uniform cloth textures for 3D models in games.

First up is some camo similar to British Woodland DPM, rendered to look like a knitted wool material. Ideal for beanie hats, etc.

In sizes, 512x512, 1024x1024 and 2048x2048.

More textures in this thread: http://www.aoaforums.com/forum/digit...-textures.html
For building exteriors.

Kool texturing! I didn't know you did seamless tiles
I have been doing a lot of custom textures for Google SketchUp since I have been developing for a game.
I usually find a picture of some texture and then use Photoshop to make it seamless. Maybe I'll upload a few

Here is a super high resolution cracked clay ground I created.
I found the photo on Morguefile.com

Looks good!

booman 23rd June, 2010 11:30 PM

I have about 20 more, but I will probably keep them for myself. I know... its not nice, but I'm worried someone else will take credit for them

danrok 19th September, 2012 01:27 AM

I'll have to make some more textures for this thread.

Any requests?

booman 19th September, 2012 04:32 PM

you asked...
I have had a hard time finding good burnt wood textures/photos.
I have found a few, but need some more.
You know the "alligator skin" burnt wood?

danrok 19th September, 2012 05:16 PM

What kind of wood?

booman 19th September, 2012 05:34 PM

Cherry or Oak... Just kidding

Any kind of wood but I would like to see panels laying side by side.
Kinda like this: IMGP1794.JPG
But smaller and a lot more panels.
I have search all over online and can't find anything decent.
I would have to use Photoshop to make this one smaller and a pattern.
You don't have to make it seamless cause I can do that myself.

Here's some staggered boards with smoke damage.

I'll try the other one, in a bit.

booman 19th September, 2012 06:01 PM

Pretty close, now if those panels has that cool aligator-skin look... it would be right on!
I can always copy/paste with Photoshop and mix it up too

I love game desktops... checkout Dead End Thrills

Some amazing screenshots from this guy.
I think he's the preferred artist for in-game art for most publishers

booman 19th September, 2012 09:40 PM

Danrok you are my new hero!
I'm going to think of more textures that I need.
Normally I go to morguefile.com and download a texture picture. Then I go into Photoshop and make it seamless and edit it a bit with the clone tool.

booman 19th September, 2012 09:42 PM

I have been doing concept art for an under-the-ocean game.
I wonder if you could come up with some ocean bottom textures
Barnacles
Reef
shells

danrok 19th September, 2012 09:56 PM

Photoshop is quite limited when it comes to making seamless textures.

booman 19th September, 2012 10:02 PM

interesting, I never considered it limited
To bad your program costs $150.00
