4G4A+ rev 1.0 uses 845g rev A chipset?

Read over at Anandtech regarding Intel's new 845PE,845GE,845GL article. In his review he says I quote: "All 533MHz FSB chipsets made by Intel officially support Hyper-Threading; the only exception being the A-stepping of the 845G chipset"

Now can we assume the worse regarding the fact that our 4g4a+ boards indeed use the A-stepping of the 845G and hence not capable of supporting hyperthreading.

Can Epox Tech clear this up please?

For Hyperthreading support, please use mainboard such as

EP-4PEA+
EP-4GVM+
EP-4GEM2+
EP-4GEA+
EP-4GEA2+

Featurfing chipsets i845GE, i845GV and i845PE released by Intel today, October 7th 2002.

Can you detail a bit on that 4GEA2+ ?
I am very curious about it, but if you cannot say that's OK, I fully understand.

sorry to bring this up, but is there a significant increase one will notice when working with a chip with hyperthreading and another that doesn't?

will i be able to feel the difference in using a 2.66 at 3.1ghz as oppose to the new P4 3.06ghz chip on normal apps, watching divx, photoshop, and divx encoding, windowsxp in general?

what programs or OS out there will benifit from hyperthreading technology?

According to Intel. with HT, you might see upto 25% performance increase with HT optimized programs.

Question HT support and what revision?

I got just two questions for Epox:
1) Will the 4G4A+ ever support HT?

2) What is the latest revision of this board? And how is the latest revision different than the first revision?

Thanks.
