| Athlon XP M/B Compat. I was all ready to buy the Epox board based on the 266a chipset. Then, while viewing AMD's list of approved MB's, I noticed it's not listed. Can anyone explain? Is this just a matter of this board not being made available for approval, or is there some issue?

| Dragged from the beach to my apartment to do the day's e-mail ...... All EPoX Motherboards with KT133a, KT266, KT266a or AMD 760 can run the Athlon XP - That means the following boards : 8KTA3 8KTA3+ 8KTA3Pro 8KTA3Pro+ 8KTA3L+ 8KHA 8KHAL 8KHA+ 8KHM 8KTM3 8K7A 8K7A+ ...and a few others besides.

| And of those boards listed, which does EPoX feel is the most suitable to build an AthlonXP system with?

| Any of them although the DDR boards are best suited due to the extra memory bandwidth available.

| I try where I can !!! Please note that 8KHAL which will be a cash saving over 8KHA+ although still offering many good features will be available within 3 weeks. This board will be good for those whose PC case is not quite large enough for boards such as the 8KHA+ or 8K7A etc.
