8K5A3+ No boot to Windows

My 8k5a3+ refuses to boot into windows but will happily run DOS of all things.

I have Windows 2000 pro, XP pro SP1, 95, 95OSR 2.1, 98, 98 v2, ME, NT4.0 SP6 and the only My PC will not go farther than DOS.
I have a Duron 800 and a Duron (morgan) 1000.
I am using 256Mb of Crucial CAS 2.5 PC2100.
2 Maxtor 30Gb 7200 RPM HDDs in raid0 config.
a liteon 16*12*40 CD-RW
a Pioneer DVD 106S
an ATI Radeon 8500 OEM
an Intel V.92 hardware modem.
I am cooling the system with a Taisol HS fitted with a custom mount and 80mm fan.
It is powered by 2 350W PSUs connected to a relay. one is P4 12V compatible and the other is ATX 2.03

The various systems complain about non protected mode errors and dificulty reading the files for NTFS and FAT formats. Could my CPUs both be frazzled?
I can get most of the way through installing XP but when it reboots the system cant read the file system (whichever one i format with) and wont boot into windows. I can read and write files on the HDD in Dos.

is it overclocked at all?

are you installing onto RAID? RAID drivers installed ok? tried installing onto a single drive just to make sure that works or not?

it was originally running at 1.2 G with the morgan CPU but i turned everything down when i started getting these probs.
I am installing to RAID and i am installing the drivers.
Im not exactly green at this sort of thing, ive just never had this problem.
My previous system used an asus A7V133 which got AC voltage pumped into it from a faulty voltage regulator on my then 1 year old leadtek geforce 2MX pro Dual head. this blew a regualtor on the PSU as well and may have fried some of the duron 800. The 800 seems ok though. My MSI KT266 pro2 RU got hit with a virus which messed up my BIOS settings using the hot flash feature (i thought that was inovative) and then scrambled the boot sector.
I am pretty sure the Morgan CPU from that system is fine and I have been trying to use it on this mobo. Both CPUs are completely unlocked but i have always installed any OS at the default settings of any CPU.

hmmm. i dunno then mate, but i'd try installing onto a single drive first just to make sure the drives themselves are ok, and to rule out any RAID probs. if that works at least you know the CPU, RAM and all that are ok.

i had a wierd prob on an old KT133 mobo that wouldn't let me install win2000. it would always lock up at the very end, either at the 'saving your settings' or 'removing temporary files' bit. very odd. sorry, that don't help you, but i feel your pain mate
