Download the BIOS image. Unzip if it's zipped, then putting JUST the BIOS image onto a floppy reboot when the boot screen appears hit ALT+F2 the BIOS auto updates. Watch the bottom of your screen and it will tell you when to go for it. How simple is that! ":O}

This is just one way to update the BIOS there are two others that I know of...

Welcome to our forums I hope you find them useful and to your liking":O}

Hitting ALT-F2 is kind of like hitting the Del key to get into the BIOS. You have to do as soon as you see the POST and do it repeatedly. Otherwise, use the Magic Bios thing from Windows.

Alt F2 will NOT work for me. i have tried it a million diff ways

holdin alt and hittin F2
holdin F2 and hittin Alt
tapping both of them at the same time
i hit the keys repeadedly over and over again. it does not do anything for me. tried on a usb and ps2 keyboard.

magic bios WILL not work either because you cant flash betas w/ it only official ones located on epox's site.

how in the world do i flash this? why is this so hard

I guess you'll just have to do it the old fashioned way.

1) Make a bootdisk. Download one from www.bootdisk.com
2) copy awdflash.exe and the ********.bin(the BIOS) to the floppy
3) Set the BIOS for first boot device as Floppy Drive
4) Boot from floppy
5) run awdflash.exe
6) follow the prompts.

Awdflash.exe will ask you for the exact name of the binary file so it's good to actually write it down somewhere.

Sorry emericana, I can't think why this wouldn't work for. Done it myself 6 or 8 time and never had a problem. Are you watching for the message at the very bottom of your boot screen?

I knew that really I did, it just slipped my mind. You see a man of my years.... I'm just so full of it! LOL

Did they discontinue the ALT+F2 Flash option? I thought that was just so cool!
