3D marks Compare Links

This benchmarks does not show full potential of 8RDA+ at all. It is only for those who consider to use 8RDA+ for slower DDR like PC 2100

why don't you raise the fsb?
keep 190 fsb and ddr@ 2x150 (even 133) will give u better results ....this "in theory"

I tried to lower the multiplier to 8 and raise the fsb to 166mhz while set memory frequency like 82%, 75% or 50%. It won't post and I have to reset the cmos in order to get in the bios again

yeah.... those options like 82%, 75%, 50% looks nice in the bios options. But they don't work at all. Maybe because it is a BETA Bios. None the less, the purpose of this thread is to show people who is using NForce2 board without speedy ram like Corsair PC3200/3500.

All day yesterday, I tested with bios setting, resetting cmos and increasing my FSB 1 mhz at the time. This is the best result I am getting.

I can set FSB like 154mhz and Window XP will boot. But running Sandra Multimedia Benchmark or 3D marks 2001SE's High Polygon count, WinXP will blue screen. Any other benchmarks can finish without a problem.

EluSiOn,
Does the 8RDA+ have the Watchdog feature?

In Windows, I forget exactly where. Do a search, you can open it with wordpad.

Edit: Unless he is talking about something else.........

My pair of Crucial can go 170FSB at least with stock voltage (2.5v). I guess yours could do the same and if we raise vmem to the 2.8v level they might be able to approach 200FSB !!!

You got to run them in CL2.5 thou.

Update!

I have changed my setting....

Now it is 185x12 = 2230mhz (Don't ask why, and I have no answer, yesterday it wont even post at that setting)

Mobo: Epox 8RDA+
CPU: 2400+
RAM: Crucial PC 2100 256mb x2
Video Card: Asus GF4 Ti 4200 128mb AGP 8x

Multiplier: 12
FSB: 185mhz
Vcore: 1950v
Vdmm: 2.90v
AGP Voltage: 1.5v

Optimal settings for Memory and CPU.

Idle Temp: 39c
Full Load Temp: 47c

Water cooled MAZE3 and Z-Chip

Sandra CPU, multimedia benchmark is very similiar, the difference is within 1 % error margin.

However, Big boost on Memory score, 3Dmark 2001 and Super PI

3D marks Compare Links

I got question, I can set higher FSB and all the benchmarks can run but... 3D marks' High Polygon Count will crash no wanter what Vcore I set at. What can be the cause of it? and also, at current setting, if I set Vcore at 2.000v, benchmarks will fail, but if I set Vcore at 1.950v, benchmarks will run and I can burn/fold the system for 30 mins without crashing. Any idea why?
