never flashed before
as topic sez never done it as it scares the **** out of me is there any way of flashing to the lateset bios ie the beta 1 not long posted here for the 8RDA+ i dont have a floppy drive as it died a while ago and i aint got round to replaceing it if some 1 couled give me a gide if its poss plse

You can use WinFlash. It is by far the easiest way to flash your BIOS. A couple things first.

1) Make sure your system is NOT overclocked before flashing.
2) Close all other apps, including virus scanners, firewall, etc., etc. everything.
3) Flash away!

Use the winflash from your CD.

if you get any error mnessages "checksum" or anything then dont flash and check here.

ive been using winflash for a whyle and ive not had a problem, and I do allot of flashing (so does ET but he does it in a brown raincoat wearing a purple thong)

Look in the Magic BIOS folder. You'll see WinFlash in there.

I thought I saw a post that someone copied from another forum from an Epox rep. that said on the Nforce2 boards you must use a particular version of AWflash.exe to properly flash an 8RDA+
BIOS am I mistaken? I have yet to flash a BIOS so I to am a little apprehensive to do so.
