| Bios Boot Block Error...... well was doing abit of overclocking last night nothing harsh just upped the fsb a little and go to boot... Award BootBlock BIOS v1.0 BIOS ROM checksum error I have inserted a floppy with awdflash and a bios like it asks but it just doesnt do anything when updating bios. the led lights have "41" but in manual just says reserved. ive had this error before but usually a cmos clear does the trick not this time  anyone know anything about this help is really appreciated. Mobo = 8RDA+

| Boot with a dos boot disk, and use awdflash with the /LD switch to flash the bios, it will destroy the checksum on reboot and allow you to reflash properly... awdflash XXXXXX.bin /LD make sure you use version 8.22a of awdflash

| make sure you're using the v8.22a awdflash, and use /LD switch when flashing. should fix it

| ive just used full 98 boot disk without awdflash and a bios on and it says !!! ERROR -- AWDFLASH.EXE NOT FOUND !!! Replace the disk and press enter... tryed with it on and just same goes to update bios then stops.

| Phat, have you tried adding awdflash to the boot disk and putting awdflash xxxxxx.bin /ld in the autoexec? dunno if that works, but its what I would try...
