![]() I have my hardrives in RAID and I can't get more than 1180 points in PCMark. Is this OK? Has anyone got better scores than me? On an 8K3A+ and same hdd's.

10KRPM Ultra160 SCSI drive managed a big 432, which makes me doubt the value of the score. ![]() I'm assuming it didn't bother looking at the striped array, made up of two 10KRPM Ultra160 SCSI drives, but who knows? Áedán

WinXP a few questions pls: - seems that you have a similar configuration with me, how the hell did you get 1484???!!! Was it because of your high fsb (199MHz)? Do you have a pci raid card or did you use the controller on the mobo? How did you configured your raid array (block size, etc)? How many partitions do you have? - could you please try it at 166x11,5? Something is very weird because also my cpu score is very low, about 5300-5400. The highest I got was 5700, just after I formated the hdd's. Also another strange thing: I cannot get more than 9500 in 3dmark!!!With the video o/c 306/306 and and xp1800+@170x10 I got 10038 (same mobo, etc). Now the highest (with the new cpu) I've got was 9850.... ![]()

QuickDeath Running the high fsb makes a difference an the added Highpoint pci raid card helps. The pci raid card is a old Abit Hot Rod 100, I flashed the bios to the 2.34 an use the 2.34 drivers. The onboard raid uses the 2.34 also. My drives are only running ata100 with the pci card. I have now a Rocket Raid 133 to see if there is a difference with rinning the drives at ata 133. My first boot is from the pci raid card, you can't set it to boot the onboard raid first. An the pci card actually makes the drives faster by about 200 points. Using 32k stripping. I tested at 11.5x165 mem in bios at 133. cpu 5705 mem 3985 hdd 1390 11.5x166 mem in bios 166 cpu 5701 mem 3987 hdd 1286
