8rda+ and 190+ Bus
Hello

After 2 Bios Checksum Errors, and some other troubles, i finally setup my box with a clean win xp install. The question that i have is this: If The Agp bus is locked, why cant i run 3dmark and games at 199 bus for instance? I have no memory errors, and the video card is ok, so why i do get kicked to the desktop everytime i try to run 3d?

Try lowering your CPU multiplier. Maybe you're CPU isn't stable at the speed it's going at with 199FSB.

The cpu is @ default speed. So it has got to be stable.

What are the other items in your setup. Please also include the brand and size of the PSU.

Well, a msi gf4 ti 4200, an audigy currently disabled, a thermaltake 420w psu.

Are you overclocking your videocard at all? I mean via software and not via the BIOS.

Try upping the voltage a tick in the BIOS on both your CPU and your memory. Give it a shot and see how it works.
