8RDA+ What is a good score with Sandra Memory Bandwidth Benchmark?

Ok,
I remember reading that the Sandra test aint 100% accurate on the n-force2 chips.

I've tweaked as much as I can and got a max of 2900 running @ 205fsb (sync) with 5-2-2-2 mem (just the one stick) using latest BIOS.

Does this score sound about right? I seem to remember seeing scores around 3100 was that with 2 sticks?

I was also wondering whether switching to a T'Bred from my current TBird would give any benefit (other than the higher clock speeds).

PiFast runs in 90.4 seconds which I think is pretty good for my TBird @ 1538 -- is it?

Since the memtest in sisoft is also cpu dependent, I would say your score is not bad at all. Believe it or not, if you pulled your CPU out and replaced it with ... let's say a 2700+, and set the same FSB, you would probably gain another 200 points or more.

With 207 fsb and XP2400@2380 Sandra scores about:
3160/2975.
Using one 512 mb stick also.

It seems your scores are where they should be.

I am using 2 stick of corsair pc 3500 and I am getting the same score like caper.... it makes me wondering if Dual Channel DDR really works or not.....

but holst said that sandra is not able measure the memory lantecy of dual channel ddr compare to standard ddr...
