I built a comp for a friend based on 8KHA+ ,Xp1600+ and GF3 Ti200.
He wanted to run Win ME and the computer is not stable at all.
Gets all kind of graphic errors in games and strange lockups from time to time.
Also upon boot he sometimes get errors, flaky graphics in OS.

Today I switched the mobo to a 8K7A and so far everything runs great.

I have also a 8KHA+ and GF3 but run Win XP, no problems.

Unless something can be done on the BIOS or driver level, that won't have too negative an impact on performance, this turn of events might make me reconsider ATI for my next graphics accelerator upgrade. I am very pleased that EPoX is doing all they can to rectify the problem, even tough they obviously are not at fault . . .
