8RDA+ boot question

When I power on my system it gives me a C1 ERROR (because i have no ram right now) and there is an alarm. I am asumming that the alarm means a temp problem. I have a D-TEK TC-4 on my 2600+. The springs on all four screws are compressed, and my watercooling system works fine. What is up with my motherboard? I dont have ram so I cant tell if my die temps are high. What do I do?

I think you have to run it for 24 hours str8 with no ram and with the siren going berzerk. Then....just in case you havent got a HDD installed (obviously in the mail), while it is running, you place the other end of the IDE cable in a bucket of water...being careful not to get zapped. And watch your PC explode.. free of charge.

The Siren I believe is the same as the C1 error- it is letting you know audibly that you have a memory error, or in your case you have no memory installed. I would just wait till your ram shows up before you start worrying, and see how it goes from there.
