8kha+ 4 in 1 driver install problem.

i cannot seem to install the latest or the cd version of the w in 1 drivers for my 8kha+. it says that it has installed it but when i reboot i get this error:

Query registry content failed.
Please contact with manufacturer !!

windows xp then announces that it has found new hardware and wants to install the drivers. when i do it and reboot the circle starts again. i tried the newest version from via and used their install program. same thing happens. anyone have the same problem? pc is working great but it is getting annoying.

im running:

1 gig t-bird (not overclocked yet)
768 mg of ddr 2100 crucial
gforce 2 gts pro 64 mb
30 gig WD hard drive 7200
audigy sound (awsome)

thx,

rhino

You do not need to install 4-in-1 driver for windows XP - the drivers built into XP provide excellent service.

try this

Try this-
Run setup again and choose the de-install option. Reboot. Then download the latest 4in1 (4.35), which as you see supports XP.
