Unhappy Ram decision???

I'm back at square one it seems as there was a price drop on corsair ram at the place I buy from. I have a few choices i'm looking at and are listed in the poll. Please give me your imput. here is another option. I got this email today from corsair...

Brady,

Hopefully tomorrow we will have some specialized modules designed and tested specifically for Dual Channel motherboards. Check out our web site tomorrow and by Monday you should be able to order these from our resellers!!

now if I wanted to get twinmos or kingston I would've listed them in the poll. Don't mean to be rude but I live in Canada and ram is a little harder to come by here and ordering from the states is way too expencive. I don't know of any retailers at all selling those two types. I would also put the reputation of Corsair up against either of those any day. Ocz is starting to look a lot better and have some nice products coming out the only reason i'm not going with them straight out is the lack of testing with the nforce2 chipset, which corsair has.

If you are running NF2 then Corsair all the way. Just about everyone with OCZ cant OC for crap on the NF2 boards.

yeah that's why i'm being skeptical...while there are a few people that are getting going overclocks with that board and ram combo the majority are having a tough time. I'm delaying my order a few days and should find out if that new ocz 3500 duel channel ram is much better. also there should be a new ram from corsair tomorrow , specifically for DC mobo's like nforce2. I was told that the ocz 3700 is doing good with the nforce2 but it is only ca 2.5 ram and would rather not get that. so far i'm leaning towards the corsair 3500 ca2.

Cool just be careful

some of the new Corsair PC3500 stuff is still programed with the wrong instructions, and if you get one of those modules, you will be playing hell with that NForce Board.

i just upgraded to Samsung PC3200, 1 gigs worth of 512 modules, happily running 13x215 at present. have had the sticks to 220, but the board i am running is a bit foolish @220FSB.

i stick with the Sammy as i get it from a vendor that actually gets the best hand picked sticks, never had a problem when clocking with his stuff, been dealing with them for about ten years now.

i had a slight problem with some Corsair stuff some time back, prolly keeps me away from some righteous ram.

BTW, the Samsung PC3200 can be had for around $130 per 512k stick, certainly a bit less than what you are talking about. and it clocks very nicely, thank you.

bradmax-yeah 195 isn't bad but i'm looking to get in the over 200fsb group and a hole lot more people are doing it with corsair ram in sync.
bldegle2-i've already checked corsairs message boards and found the manufactures codes for the fixed ram and that's what i'd be getting. Even if I got one of the older sticks on the site it says they will exchange it for a new one.
