If running >210 FSB w/o VDD mod on 8RDA+, post here

Hi guys

If you have run the FSB>210 on 8RDA+ board successfully without VDD(chipset voltage) mod, please kindly post what memory and voltage you are using.

I am having trouble running my Corsair XMS 3000C2 over 205 with relaxing setting(7 3 3 2.5) at 1.9V. I have corrupted my windows system files several times just by trying to find a good spot over 210. Mostly likely I thought it had something to with the chipset itself for not being able to run very high fsb because the same memory was running fine at 215 with 6 3 3 2 in my IT7 for almost 2 months.

I heard some guys having good results with twinmos memory on 8RDA+. I would like to make sure it's a general rule and not just some "lucky sticks" before I spend the extra bucks on them.

Again any input will be greatly appreciated.

p.s. posted this earlier in the O.C. forum, but no reply yet

No replies because no-one can do that without the Vdd mod. I am going to get some twinmos (w\winbond to be on the safe side), as soon as they are in stock at kmplett.

I use XMS3500c2, and I could get to 235fsb ( not stble- just mem benches- quick), was stable at 220 though( it did struggle to finish 3dmark there, but everything else seemed good) at 5-2-2-2 timings or better.
After the vdd bump ( I had 1.56, now 1.77) it is much more stable at >230fsb........ and I can bench 230fsb 3dmark better than I could at 220 b4 it( at tight timings). A bit higher mem benches as well.

CPU Aggressive

Without the VDD mod...
