8K9A2+

I had the same prob as u, as i just bought the 8K9A2+ mobo a few weeks ago, the only solution was to not use the raid, thats been the only answer to my problem with crashes and been able to install windows at all on the raid...
I have tried using all the beta bios i could find which did not help the problem.. Although the C20 bios i think it is seems to be faster.

If u want to try it, i think i found it on the amd forums..
but i can email it to if u..

No it's not necessary to unplug your hd and not use the raid,
you said that your +5v is 4,969 right?
I think that's the problem.
First of all try to unplug all the fans connected to your mobo, except the CPU fan, and connect them to your PSU.
If this don't works try to install the system to an HD connected to raid.
(I had the same problem (see the "8k9a2+ probs" mail, at last my dealer changed my mobo with another 8k9a2+ and now I'm really happy. I think all problems are made by the +5v tension that on this mobo is really low and I hope that EPOX will fix it on new bioses)

I have built 3 systems with the 8k9a2+ motherboard in the last 3 weeks. Had no real problems with them with the exception of one which I will explain later. First of all make sure that the optimized ( F7) is used in the bios. Install your OS then go back into the bios and enable or disable the items that you want.
Use the Via Hyperion 4n1 drivers and the latest flash found at
ftp://ftp.epox.com/motherboard/supp...a23115-beta.bin

The raid does work with no problem. The one problem that I have will all 3 systems, is that when a USB memory card or a USB external storage device is plugged in the system will not boot. Unplug the device and reboot and boots fine. Epox is aware of this problem and should have a fix soon.

The systems run very fast and are very stable!

Great board!
